seo:

sitemap:
exclude: true

seo.noindex adds <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> to the page, and sitemap.exclude keeps it out of sitemap.xml. For more than that, seo.robots takes a string ('noindex, nofollow') or an object ({ index: false, follow: false }).
The site's own search index is set in one place in the config, with URL patterns:
search: {
enabled: true,
exclude: ['/thanks', '/private', '/private/**'],
},
A pattern has to match the whole URL, so /private/** covers the pages under /private but not /private itself.
Robots tags only ask crawlers to look away. The page is still public to anyone with the link, so put anything private behind real access control.
In the Stati docs: Robots configuration, Per-page sitemap configuration and Exclude pages.
